Reaching for the stars in Lake Tekapo, New Zealand

Reaching for the Stars in the clear skies of Lake Tekapo, New Zealand.

Surrounded by mountains and far from the glaring city lights, lake Tekapo is one of the best places to star gaze. In the last ice age, Tekapo was once covered by a large glacier pushing down from the Southern Alps it a sight to behold. I ended up staying here while on a road trip to the South Islands of New Zealand. Beautiful walking trails surrounding turquoise waters beckon you to leave your worries behind and feel FREE! That is what i felt. FREEDOM. Free from monday blues and unanswered emails. Free from my mile long “To Do List”. I wanted to reach for the sky. So i did. I jumped 🙂
